DevOps Engineer

As a DevOps Engineer, you will help build BetterBe’s high performance, secure and scalable private cloud platform. This platform serves as the basis on all BetterBe’s LeaseServices (BLS) are hosted. Given that BetterBe is operating internationally, our platform should integrate seamlessly with public cloud solutions for worldwide scalability.

Within BetterBe, the DevOps Engineers are also responsible for developing key parts of the internal CI/CD pipelines.

Your contribution to the DevOps team will help make the lives of all BetterBe’s product engineers easier and allows BetterBe to scale to wherever our customers need us.

Specifically, this means that you:

Design and build BetterBe’s Kubernetes based hosting platform;
Design and build BetterBe’s CI/CD pipelines;
Help put processes, monitoring and alerting in place to ensure safe, secure, and scalable operating of the BLS;
Define, track, and monitor the production statistics.

What do you need?

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree; Computer Science or Computer Engineering;
Strong analytical skills;
Experience in a similar position is a plus;
Knowledge of Kubernetes, ElasticSearch/OpenSearch and Prometheus;
Knowledge of provisioning management tools such as Puppet, Ansible and Chef;
Knowledge of Python, Docker, Linux, automated testing, databases, and storage solutions;
Proficiency in Dutch and/or English, both verbally and in writing.
