BetterBe | Enschede | Hybrid | Graduation internship | Start date: February 2027
Most theses end up in a drawer. Yours won’t.
Are you an IT student in the final stretch of your Bachelor’s or Master’s? Are you looking for a graduation project that matters outside the lecture hall? At BetterBe we build the smart technology behind car leasing. Our cloud platform calculates millions of lease quotes for leasing companies, car brands and dealers across Europe, quickly, accurately and in real time. Behind every quote is a large amount of vehicle data, complex logic and solid software engineering. We’re always on the lookout for curious students who want to take on a real challenge with us.
Your research project
We have some really exciting assignments on the shelf: software, data, AI, architecture and much more. We won’t list them all here, because we’d much rather talk about them together.
During an informal introduction meeting, we’ll sit down with you to look at which assignment fits your study programme, your interests and your ambitions best. Do you already have your own research idea? Bring it along. We love a good brainstorm!
What you’ll do
Set up and carry out your own research project from start to finish
Work alongside experienced developers, architects and product people
Build proofs of concept and test them against real data and real use cases
Present your findings to the team, and maybe see them land in production
Who we’re looking for
A final-year HBO or WO student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business IT or a similar programme
Someone curious who likes figuring out why something works, not just that it works
A self-starter who isn’t afraid to ask questions (we love questions)
Good English skills. Dutch is a bonus, not a must
What’s in it for you
An internship allowance of €500 per month
Free lunch every day you’re at the office
A laptop to use during your internship
A dedicated supervisor who has your back throughout your project
Flexible, hybrid working
A warm, informal team with drinks, fun activities and the occasional bad pun
A real chance of a job offer after you graduate
Sounds like you?
Send your CV and a few lines about yourself and what gets you excited in IT to recruitment@betterbe.com. No polished motivation letter needed. We’ll invite you for a cup of coffee, and together we’ll find the assignment that suits you best.
